Which is best, breakfast or lunch at CRT?

I have noticed that everyone talks about breakfast and I don't hear very much about lunch. Do you prefer one over the other? Is the character interaction the same? Is the food better at breakfast or lunch?

I would really appreciate hearing your thoughts about both. I don't know which to reserve!

Thanks bunches! :flower:

Don't know the answer to this, but am wondering the same thing. Here's to hoping someone can tell us the difference.

::MickeyMo We like going for breakfast because we get into the park early and get some awesome pictures! ::MinnieMo

Breakfast has been around a lot longer. The breakfast is cheaper. Many people prefer to get an early time to get into the parks earlier. The princess line-up is slightly different.

There is no best, it's just what you prefer. :confused3

I've done both, and I actually prefer lunch. It's a nice break from the park in the middle of the day, and while I think the food at breakfast is mediocre, I find the food at lunch to be very good to excellant.

Thanks everyone! :sunny:

Disneyfav4ever, thanks for letting me know that you thought the food was better at lunch! When I was at CRT last, the food at breakfast was a disappointment, though we had a fantastic show of princesses. Were the princesses at lunch the same as breakfast? I also like your idea of a mid-day break.

I just found the prices for both meals and lunch for adults is only $2 more than breakfast and $1 more for children, so not enough of a difference to be a factor.

We just did the lunch this August, but we have never tried the breakfast. We really really enjoyed the lunch, the atmosphere was gorgeous. We got there early, hot and tired and I expected to be told to wait by the CM's handling ADRs but they were so very gracious to us. The woman pulled our card and said that we could go in and sit in the a/c of the castle and meet Fairy Godmother and she'd see if she could get us in early. We were able to look around the entry way to the castle, meet Fairy Godmother and chat to a couple of people before our name was announced. We were seated off to one side and the princesses all came to our table before we even ordered our food. In a way, I thought this was good because I didn't have to worry about keeping the camera and autograph books out of everyone's lunch plate. Plus we could have a leisurely relaxing lunch without worrying who was coming to the table next. The princesses were: Cinderella, Snow White, Princess Aurora, Belle, and Jasmine. They were obviously busy but we enjoyed the character interaction. Snow White was sweet as pie and Jasmine was playful (oooh you should see the pic with my DS11...that bare midriff made him blush). I had the Major Domo Pie and it was fab. My son LOVED his salmon (I loved his asparagus - he wouldn't touch green food even at WDW lol), my daughter had her standard chicken strips/nuggets, etc. Desert was great too and we loved being called, "My Lord" "My Lady" and "Princess".

We've done both and liked lunch significantly better. The food at lunch is much better and we had better character interaction too. I'll go to CRT for lunch again, but wouldn't bother with breakfast.

Have just booked the lunch for 23 January for ,yslef and 2 DDs - looking forward to it even more now!

We just had lunch there last week and we loved it! I think I would only do breakfast if I could get in before the park opens. Lunch was a nice break in the afternoon. Pricessses cam through quickly but it was just enough to satisfy my DD

We've done breakfast and it was okay. Looking forward to lunch instead next time.

Is the ressie for lunch as difficult to get as it is for breakfast?

What are the times for lunch and can I see a sample menu somewhere?

DREAMIN DISNEY_I am a Yankee fan, but cheering for the SOX (WHITE NOT RED) this series. 88 yrs is enoufg and I love Ozzie. Maybe tonight.

I thought the lunch was easier to book, but I booked it way back in July when it was still new.

As far as the characters go,

Breakfast - Cinderella, Snow White, Belle, and Alice

Lunch - Cinderella, Aurora, Belle, Wendy, and Mary Poppins

Also the Fairy Godmother was in the lobby both times.

I've never been for breakfast, but I LOVED the lunch. I had the salmon with asparagus and crab risotto and it was the best meal I had all week. The appetizers were also great!

I ditto the great lunch food!!!! Salmon was awesome! we have never done the breakfast, but the lunch was good. The character interaction was rushed princess: , not sure if that was because it was lunch or not. beautiful castle.
My girls on :cloud9:

We've never done breakfast but lunch was one of the best meals we had at the World. I was skeptical because of the mixed reviews that I'd read on these boards, but we were all very happy with our food. The appetizers were AWESOME!!!!!

Great to hear, we booked lunch.

:paw: Ashley's clue

We just went to Cinderella's Castle for lunch last week. I agree that the food was delicious. We got amazing pictures of my children with the princesses. We had so many princesses and got to meet each one.

It was a great way to cool off from the park. And of course eating in the castle with my sister princesses was a dream come true for me. princess:
