We have done the CRT breakfast with the characters and the little show where everyone waves their wands and the ceiling lights twinkle...

What happens at the dinner?? Are there characters there too? Someone mentioned that they do a show? Is it worth it, or should we stick with breakfast?

TIA!!

I haven't done the dinner, but I do know that Cinderella is in the lobby at dinner and the fairy godmother is the only other character. If you want a different princess experience with more characters, you might try 1900 Park Fare at the Grand Floridian or Princess Storybook dining in Epcot.

The characters at dinner are Fairy Godmother and Perla and Suzy but they do not visit guests at their tables - they just do a short show. :) You still get your picture taken with Cinderella in the lobby area though. ;)

When we did CRT dinner Perla came out and danced around a bit....then FG came out....did the wave the wands/light flicker bit, and she sang some more and they both left. No characters except Cindy in the lobby for photos. It was pretty noisy and chaotic but not nearly as bad as breakfast.

If you have the opportunity to schedule it so that you are eating dinner when Wishes start you will see the changing colors outside the windows, and hear the boom, but you really can't see the fireworks well. We had a window seat overlooking Fantsyland which was totally cool, but even craning necks you could see only a few sparkles. But the knowledge that those light changes was Wishes and I was in the castle was a very cool experience anyway, lol.

suzy and perla do circulate for photos but won't sign

We had dinner at CRT last October and we really enjoyed it. Suzy and Perla did visit the tables and we were able to take pictures with them. The Fairygodmother came out and sang a song or two and annouced Birthdays and Anniversaries.
My brother had not been to Disney in over 20 years, so I really wanted to eat in the castle, we took his step-daughter and her 2 boys and they really were not interested in doing the breakfast. The boys (my brother included) each got a sword and his step-daughter got a wand...I declined the wand.
Service was great and our group got a kick out of the waiters calling the males my lord and the women my lady.

DH and I are doing CRT for Breakfast this trip for part of our Anniversary...What's with the Twinkling? Do Explain please! :)

Who is Suzy and Perla? Are the other princesses not there like they are for breakfast?

NOTE: This is an OLD thread from 2008. I don't know how it got resurrected.

FYI -- When we did dinner at CRT in 2013 -- there was Jasmine, Cinderella (lobby), Aurora, Ariel, and Snow White all making the rounds. Food was pretty good and we didn't feel rushed. I have read a few reports that they tend to move you pretty quickly during breakfast and it feels a bit hectic.
