CRT breakfast or lunch?

I just became aware that lunch at CRT is a character meal also! Being a huge Disney fan and planner, how did I not know this?

Is one option better than the other? What would be the pros and cons of each?

For instance can we get into breakfast before the park opens? Is it better to get all of Fantasyland out of the way early and then relax at CRT for lunch?

I'd really like to hear opinions and experiences please!

And how's the food?

We went to CRT a while back for breakfast---we LOVED it! IMO, nothing is better, especially with young kids, to be eating in Cinderella's Castle. The food is good, not great. You are paying more for the ambiance and characters. We got an ADR before park opening for December 30th, and are so excited. I have done this before with Crystal Palace, and we really enjoyed having an empty Main St. to walk into.
Enjoy whatever you choose!

I did breakfast in March... while I liked it, I think unless you get an 8 AM seating (and can therefore be in the park at 9 AM), I'd prefer to do lunch next time with the kids, so we can do our park touring fast and furious in the morning, and then wind down at lunch, with a more relaxed afternoon/evening schedule.

We had lunch there in January and it worked out quite well.

We did MK in the morning then just casually walked over when it was lunchtime. The food was good, princesses were kind of quick but it was all really magical (how could eating in the castle be anything but?!).

We had lunch there in Sept. We had the 11:45 sitting (1st sitting) and loved that sitting. We were seated at the windows overlooking Fantasyland and were the 1st table the Princesses came to after being introduced. The food was ok, we all had the Major Domo's pie, DD got a hot dog and DS got buttered noodles which he didn't care for, so ate mostly off my plate. The dessert was HEAVENLY! It was so neat eating in the castle. We decided lunch would be better touring wise since I wanted to do BBB before it. We had a 10:15 BBB appt, got out of there in about 30 minutes, and then rode a couple rides in Fantasyland before lunch (Carousel, Snow White, etc). We are going again in May and plan to do breakfast.

We have a late breakfast planned for my DD3's birthday - 10:35 am. :cutie: We figure that we'll get to MK at rope drop, do a few of the major attractions, then by then we'll be ready to enjoy a nice brunch. I like it because it combines breakfast and lunch for us that day.

After breakfast, we'll go on a few more attractions and then head back to the resort to rest because we have MVMCP that night! :santa:
