CRT at 8:05 AM How early can we get into the park?

Great news!!! We just got a PS for Cinderella's Royal Table at 8:05 AM. We are staying at the Polynesian. How much time do we need to get from the hotel to CRT. Also, with PS do they let you into the park early?

Yes, they will allow you into the park early. When you get to the turnstiles, there will be a CM off to the left who will have a list of names and priority seatings. Once the CM confirms your name is on the list you will be allowed into the park. It is neat walking down Main St. toward the castle all by yourself. I'm not sure, but I thought I heard they don't let you in until 8:00. Figure on about 10 or 15 minutes to get to the MK from the Poly.

Yes, it's true that they won't let you into the park until 8:00am. I also had a Cindy's PS at 8:05 and that morning they didn't open the gates unti. 8:05, with the crowded that had assembled, I didn't get to Cindy's until 8:20!! Not a problem, since they know the problems at the gate and I was seated promptly. I'd be at the Poly monorail station by 7:30 and you'll be fine.

I would give myself an hour travel time from the moderates. That is what we did on our first two trips, even if you are a little early it is better than stressing out about losing your Cindy's seating.

I also had 8:05 ressies for Cindys. If you ask at the front desk of your resort, there is a bus comes around and picks up all the people with early breakfast PS's.

It is great walking up Main Street with no crowds! Be sure to take a couple of pictures!

We also have a PS at 8:05 at CRT and staying at the BC. The CM told us to make sure we were on the "first" character bus that leaves the resort (my guess is this is around 7:00-7:15). Check with guest services when you check in to make sure you know what time that bus is. The CM I spoke to couldn't stress enough to make sure it's the first bus. I'm sad though that they don't let you in before 8 if you have an 8:05. I wanted to take some time walking down main street all by myself!!

We had a 8:05am at CRT last June and it's true you do not get in before 8am. We really didn't take the time to "stroll" down Mainstreet. There were a lot of later PS's checking in when we got to Cindy's - but having the 8:05 we were seating right away.
If you get there a little late, you may run the chance of having to wait longer for your table.
Another tip - make sure when you get on the Monorail that it will stop at MK. They don't stop until 7:30am and we got on one at about 7:27am and went right past the MK! We had to do "the loop" again. Not a big deal though since we couldn't get into MK until 8am, but if you want to be one of the absolute first to walk down mainstreet you should be at the turnstiles at 7:30am.
Whatever you do - don't stress it. Rushing to breakfast at such a magical place doesn't exactly start the day off right! Enjoy the walk down Mainstreet - just don't get sidetracked for too long if you have a 8:05.
