CRT and Fireworks?

I'm going in September for my honeymoon AND my birthday. YAY! I've never done CRT but I'm debating between that and Akershus to see the princesses. I think my final decision will be based on whether or not I can see the fireworks if I get a late dining reservation. I know I won't see all of the effects but thought that if you can see the fireworks, it might make CRT the winner. So, can you see the fireworks from CRT? Do they have reservations that late? Or should I just bite the bullet and head to Akershus anyway? Are the princesses basically the same at both?

With the new show debuting soon, it's hard to say how much you'll be able to see and how much you'll miss out on by being inside CRT during the show. For Wishes, you could see some of the non-castle based fireworks from within the restaurant (not all tables have a view). They do dim the lights and pipe in the music, but you won't be able to see any of the effects that originate from the castle (fireworks, projections, Tinkerbell, etc.). I do think being inside CRT is a fun alternative way to view the fireworks, but only if you've already seen them from somewhere outside the castle.

That is pretty! I'm not worried about missing the effects because we'll see them at least once more during our trip. It would stink if we got a table without a view though.

We did just that last August, making dinner reservations about 45 minutes prior to the show. We have seen Wishes many times, so were open to a new experience. I have to say that it was magical! You don't get a clear view of the fireworks, but it is beautiful to watch through the stained glass windows with the lights dimmed and music playing. We were celebrating my daughter's Sweet 16, and it was just perfect!!!

I think what the PP meant is, depending on when you are going the show will change and nobody knows when, where, how frequent, how big, etc the fireworks will be.

We know the new show will have alot more projections on the castle (which you won't see at all) and we know it will have "lasers" as well (which you won't see either) so the answer is...depending on if when you go and if you see Wishes or not, it's hard to say.
