CRT and 5th Anniversary

We are taking an anniversary trip to WDW 9/3-11. We've got CRT reservations for lunch on Tuesday. It's noted in our hotel reservation and our CRT ADR. I want to do something for DH at CRT - since it's noted as our anniversary - is it normal to get an Anniversary Magic Moment or do I need to call and do something. I'd also like to order a special desert - help! Me the Disney planner of the family doesn't know where to go to info on how to do this!!!!!!!! HELP! Any ideas? We've had to postpone our anniversary trip from June to September due to DH's work schedule - even though we are taking DS (4) along with us - our primary goal is to have a nice romantic family (if this is possible) vacation!

Don't expect the magic to happen on its own. Some people have had things happen others have not. If it is somethig you want to specifically take place you can contact the restaurant to discuss a special dessert - ie: cenderellas slipper, mini wedding cake, tuxedo mickey with choc. covered strawberries, etc. Have a great trip - we too will be their for our anniversary Oct. 8th

We ate here for our 24th wedding anniversary. Our DU agent mentioned on our ps that it was our anniversary. We had pixie dust on our table and got a special anniversary proclamation. We also got a special take home gift that is only available to people that are celebrating either their anniversary or honeymoon. This would have been 3 years ago, don't know if things have changed or not.

We were there this past April and mentioned that it was our anniversary when we checked in to be seated. We were also given a nice table and a special take home gift as well.

I know the Anniversary is documented in our ADRs....the CRO agent that I spoke to when I made our hotel reservations noted in it the hotel reservation, but when she went to do our ADRs - made a point of telling me that she was putting into the notes section for extra pixie dust - don't know what that means - just hoping that something will happen at CRT since that's where I'm ordering a special desert for - I'd love to surprise DH!!! Any clue about when/who to call and arrange a special desert too?

Starting the less than two week countdown!!!!

We will celebrate our 21st wedding anniversary at CRT for dinner on July 1, 2006. I love the idea of the cindy slipper and choclate covered strawberries.

Do I call a few days before to order a special dessert ? Or do I mention it when I call for the ADR ?

Our teen DS & tween DD will also join us for dinner.

Would 6:30 PM be too early for dinner ?
We do not like to eat past 7 PM.

I plan on having flowers delivered to our resort on July 1 (we leave 7 days later - so we'll have a week to enjoy them).

Any other suggestions ?

I plan on having a cake delivered to our hotel room for our anniversary in October. I was told by guest services that you need to contact the resort you are staying at at least 48 hours in advance for these type of things. If you want to do it at a restaurant you would need to contact that particular restaurant and they will be able to arrange it for you. You can also pick up once of these fabulous desserts at the bakery.
