CRT all you can eat?

CRT is not all you can eat for dinner- you get one appetizer, one main entree, and your dessert.

I was wondering the same thing, because on allears.net it lists it as an all you can eat restaurant. It lists all you can eat restaurants as three types of all you can eat restaurants (traditional buffets, family style meals, and pre-plated), and Cinderella's Royal Table and Princess Storybook Breakfast (or Lunch, or Dinner) are the only ones listed as "Pre-plated" all you can eat restaurants. Hopefully someone knows what that means or has had experience with that and can explain.

Lunch and dinner are ordered from a menu. Breakfast is preplated, but you get a choice of two styles of breakfast - healthy and cholesterol filled. By preplated they mean, the server brings out your breakfast already on the plate. You can order more eggs, fruit, breakfast pastries, etc. But it is not a buffet line and not a family style.

The cholesterol filled has scrambled eggs, sausage/maybe bacon. Healthy is fruit, yogurt, granola.

If I remember (it's been a long time since we have eaten there), kids got french toast sticks, maybe scrambled eggs.

So allears.net is mistaken when they list CRT as a "pre-plated" all-you-can-eat restaurant in the lunch and dinner categories?

Check it again. They have breakfast as pre-plated. Lunch and dinner, you order from the menu (you get one entree, one appetizer, one dessert) but it is fixed price for all three meals. Look at the page with the menus.

The only thing the same is that Cinderella is present for all meals. In the past, she and her friends were only there for breakfast.

Cinderella greets you downstairs in her throne room before all 3 meals, and you get your picture with her before going upstairs to eat. In the dining rooms upstairs, princesses now visit the tables at all 3 meals...but Cinderella herself is not at the meals, just downstairs before the meal.

As PP have said, lunch & dinner are order-off-the-menu meals, one item for each course. No refills/2nds (except on beverages) but it is plenty of food. We've eaten dinner there twice in last couple of years, and did not leave hungry. In fact could not finish dessert on either occasion.

Don't count on allears (or wdwinfo) as being gospel-correct, anyway. Both sites depend on info from volunteers and are not Disney-official-sources. Just helpful for general details...:thumbsup2

Some of the general overview pages haven't been updated, but if you look at their menus for B, L, and D they are much clearer about what you can expect.

Additionally you can check the DisneyWorld website and it also gives details of the three meals.

Both sites state that breakfast is pre-plated. At lunch and dinner you choose from the menu.

I had dinner at CRT on the 21st. I just returned home and did take a picture of the new menu. It was completely different than the dinner menu that I've seen posted. I will post it asap.

I have a question. We have lunch reservations. Was the gratituty included in the price I paid?

This is valid, they just finalized a menu change about a month ago and last time I checked allears.com, it was not 100% valid.
