CRT - ADR suggestions please!

I have a few questions about making ADR's with CRT. Of course I am going during free dining and after everything I read on here today, I'm scared for June 13 when I have to make my ADR's

I don't want to do CRT at dinner because I heard there are no other princesses there - is this assumption correct? Do other princesses do lunch at CRT or just breakfast?

How incredibly hard is it to get 8am ADR? If I don't get 8am ADR would you suggest doing 8:30am or just waiting until later like 10am? I want to make sure that we are early in the park to get a head start on some of those lines.

I called today and got thru about 8:45 et and got CRT for 10:10 for 5 of us. We wanted 10, so it was fine. They also had a 9:10 available, but we wanted the later so we could get some park time in first since its our first day, we want to be there for rope drop I was surprised I had no problem getting when I wanted.

I'm picky so I only book breakfast at CRT.

If you can't get the early breakfast go for a late one. Either way you get some of the rides done before it gets busy at the MK.

The Princesses are there at Breakfast and lunch. It is hard to get ADRs. You pretty much should take what you can get- try for 8:00 a.m., but don't get your heart set on any time and you may have to be flexible on days too. We were a party of 5 and wanted breakfast or lunch so we would see the Princesses (not during free dining), and I was given one choice, a 2:20 p.m. lunch, for the entire week we were there. (they still had plenty of dinner times available, but we did not want those). I took it and tried several times before our trip to get it changed, but no luck on either time or date. It was well worth it even though it was not on the day or time we would have picked.

Thanks for asking about CRT, I'm making my ADRs 6/22. However, I am still a little confused, do you call at the 90+10 mark (resort guest) or do you call exactly 90 days from the exact date you want? I thought you could get them all the ADRs made in one call, but I remember hearing some where that CRT is different?

I asked for either a late breakfast or early lunch for CRT this morning. The CM said she had a 9:00 am. I took it. Later, I thought that I would rather be there at rope drop, ride a few things in Fantasyland and then go. So I called back around 11:00am and was able to get a 10:20. I was really surprised that anything was open still. The only wrench is that I booked the Princess Storybook breakfast for the next day. (I should have booked lunch. I just was in the frenzy of the moment and should have paid closer attention.) Anyway, I called back for that one and the only lunch time they had available was 1:45 which is way too late for my girls to eat. So, I guess I will just be calling back daily to see if anything opens up. It's a good problem to have. Anyway, I just wanted to let you know that sometimes you do have a chance to get a time you would prefer at CRT.

Poohteacher, I don't know when you are going, but I was surprised at how great a 2:20 lunch was even though I thought it would be way too late for lunch. It was in the 90s due to a heat wave when we were there and a late lunch was a perfect break from the heat. We were inside during the hottest part of the day and then went back out refreshed and ready to stay until closing. DD, 3, had some raisins (we brought) and a popsicle for a snack around what would have been her normal lunchtime, and she had no problems with the late lunch. Of course, if you leave the parks for a break in the afternoons that probably wouldn't work.
