CRT - Add on's for a celebration?

We will, hopefully, be celebrating a birthday at CRT and would like to order something special for the birthday boy. I contacted CRT Special Events and received descriptions and pricing for the specialty desserts and also spoke with Disney Floral and Gifts who said they can deliver things as well. We will most likely order one of the special desserts. I'm just wondering if anyone has ever ordered anything extra to be delivered to the table at CRT and what did you order? Did everything arrive in time for your ADR? Thanks!

We ordered the tiara, the special deserts (1 crown and 1 shoe), and special champagne glasses when we were there last August. I thought the tiara was really low quality for the amount that I paid. The deserts were good. I actually like them more now then a few years ago, but they were a little much already getting a desert with the meal. If I were to do it again I would probably order from Floral & Gifts, because there are more options for gifts and I could customize something a little more special. However, in all reality my daughter was so focused on everything around her she barely paid attention to the "extras" so I would probably have it delivered and set up in the room for when we return for our mid day break.

I ordered one of the larger cakes (think the one that feeds 6-8).
Never said anything to the wait staff and the cake came out to surprise my daughter at the end of the meal

Thanks so much for responding! I think we will probably order the Mickey cake and then have Disney Floral set something up in the room. That way, he'll have a nice surprise at the restaurant but we won't be bogged down carrying any extras around the park. I'm assuming they still hand out wands and swords so he'll have that as well, is that correct? Thank you so much!

For my DD's 8th birthday, we ordered the chocolate slipper dessert, the engraved glass slipper, and a balloon (which we deflated shortly after the meal). When we arrived, the balloon was already at the table and the server whispered to me that they were set with my special order. The server was wonderful. She announced my daughter's birthday and led everyone in "Happy Birthday".
