Any thoughts on this hotel, we need a hotel to stay over the night before, and will need a couple of other rooms with parking included for those driving?

Managed to get a rate for £51 per night room only which I thought was pretty good?

Hi, we stayed here before our trip to Florida last year. It was fine, rooms a little smaller than we expected but for the the price you have, I would say that it is a pretty good deal!

HI,live near Manchester airport and good hotels are the Marriot,and two new Premier Inns have just opened all with parking.The Marriot also have shuttle buses to the airport, not too sure about premier Inn though.There is also a Travelodge,Etrop Grange,Hilton,all near by and a Raddison actually in the airport itself.Or failing that you can bunk down on our floor is you wish

We stayed at the marriot two years ago and were very impressed with the hotel and facilities (great pool). Only downside was that the shuttle bus was out of action when we phoned for it on the way back and were told to pay for a taxi ourselves to get back to our car - they did reimburse us btw.

We've stayed there a few times, thought it was very good
We ate there one time and it was very nice food, though a bit expensive. we generally eat on the way there and then at the airport in the morning.
The car park is very long and winds all the way around the back of the hotel, you sometimes end up having to park far away from the entrance- so prob worth dropping the rest of your party and the suitcases by the reception and then parking. Sometimes ive ended up with a 15 min walk from my space. They generally move your car closer when they can
The shuttle service is good, although when you arrive home- it seems to take a while to get picked up. it doesnt help that you just want to get home, makes time feel longer.

The rooms look nice - they have all just been refurbished?

Were not using the car park we will be getting the train down.

We had a look at some of the other hotels (would have liked to have stayed at the Radisson if we could get a good rate) - we stayed at the Travelodge the last time but I would prefer somewhere with a nicer restaurant as there will be a few of us staying in the hotel and will want to eat together

Gemmy, Dinner and Breakfast were both very good . Forgot about parking as we have a disabled badge so got parked close to the hotel but I would recommending unloading near to reception, go and check in whilst someone finds a park. Shuttle was fine too but it did take a long time to get to the car when we arrived home. It is definitely nicer than the travel lodge, much more peaceful!

ooh good to hear some decent reviews ... we're staying there in a week on Sunday before our flight on Monday morning ... it's the first time we've ever done that ... but also the first time we've been on the earlier Virgin flight! Including parking it's costing us about £75 which didn't seem bad ... and means I avoid the M6 first thing Monday morning

We've stayed there a couple of times and no problems at all, we usually have breakfast at the airport but we do have room service and had no problems at all.

We stayed there in 2008 and found it fine... Also stayed at Bewley's which is pretty similar though I think it just has the edge over the CP (I think Bewley's has gone up in price now, the 2 hotels used to have a similar rate) We actually walked to Bewley's for dinner as we didn't like the look of the menu at the CP. We ate breakfast at the airport as I didn't think the hotel's ridiculous price was worth it
