Has anyone stayed at the Crown Club Inn before and relied on their shuttles to get to and from the parks? How was it? We are not renting a car and were planning on staying Value, but a deal for Crown Club popped up and I am tempted to book here.
Also, any thoughts on the place as whole?
Thanks!

I'm not familiar with Crown Club Inn, but as someone who always stays off site, I would very strongly recommend having a car. Without it, you're relying on a shuttle, which typically doesn't run often, only stops at one spot, etc...plus you then have to use Disney transportation to get around. I wouldn't do it.

Thanks! You pretty much confirmed what I was thinking. When I add in the price of renting a car it doesn't make the discount of the place as good.

I believe I stayed at the Crown Club inn about a week before the sinkhole incident at Summer Bay resort a couple of years ago.Crown Club inn is the hotel at the entrance of Summer Bay and the one thing I remember about this hotel, aside from staying there a week before the ground swallowed up a building a couple hundred yards from where I was sleeping is that this hotel is pretty far from the parks. Its located on 192 pretty close to US 27 and although I know its not always like this but I remember since my trip was in summer and it was raining a lot so people were out of the parks driving around,it was taking 40-45 minutes to get to Disney and over an hour to Universal and Sea World. You do have the back Disney entrance on Sherberth rd to get you into Disney property faster but as far as your question there's no chance I would stay there without a car.

Thanks for your honest input! I'm going to rule this one out.
