We will be arriving at the AKL on the 17th and I was looking for an update on how the park crowds are from anyone who has been recently (last couple weeks or so)?

Thanks!

We just came back on the 7th of May. The crowds were the heaviest the last week of April due to Spring Breakers from the New Jersey area. I noticed the crowds were very managable the first week of May even with the 50th celebration. If you can avoid the parks Memorial Weekend I think you will be fine!

Thanks. That sounds pretty good. We'll be there from the 17-26 (Thursday before Memorial weekend) and then leave before it's really busy.

Any other crowd reports?

We were there May 7 - 11th. Crowds were not too bad. Most rides we could walk right on to (mornings and evenings were great). Between 1 and 4PM there were 20 minute waits for some rides. The longest wait I saw was 50 minutes for Peter Pan's Flight (on Tuesday May 10) at 3PM in the afternoon. We did MGM on Monday (the 9th) which seemed like a Ghost town from 9AM until noon... then it got a little busier... but still very manageable. We did ToT twice in a row without any wait at all (at 3 PM in the afternoon!) You'll have a good time. :)

My mother and I just went on Mothers Day weekend--We go every mothers day, and it is always empty. However, this time, Im sorry to say that It was packed! We were in Animal Kingdom, Epcot, and Magic Kingdom--And we were amazed at all the people!

I hope it clears about before you go !

The best of luck~~~

we're there right now! taking a break at the AKL-- it 'appears' very crowded to me-- but my only point of comparison was during the month of september a few years ago!

we took advantage of EMH today at MK and it was great- got on all the mountains (queued up for spash at 855am). between the EMH and FP we did the mountains, peter pan, hall of presidents, pooh, carrosuel, dumbo, haunted mansion, buzz, small world, philharmagic and CRT!

AK was packed yesterday - 40' for Kali. but with good planing we've done a lot. i'm still worried about the wkd.

tommorow we plan on mgm or epcot...
