crowds

I have read in several different posts how crowded it was. Does anyone have any reasons other than the obvious for the crowds? I think we all realize that it is getting more and more crowded at the parks, but is there something concrete for the recent influx? Possibly lowere airfares etc.

Welcome to the DIS and your first post!!! Disney is seeing a rise in tourism again (which even though we don't want high crowds is really good for Disney). Anyway, I just think in general people are starting to travel again after the last few years of not doing so. I also think more and more people are trying to escape the crowds by booking at what was once "slow times" which is elminating these periods.
