:thumbsup2 hi all, we're going in June, which I fully appreciate will be one of the busiest times of the year to go.

but as first timers we have no benchmark.

so are we talking concert busy ie. unable to move or somewhere below that, I'm trying to set family expectations.

thanks for any info.:thumbsup2

I've been in June before, arrive early, use fast passes, take afternoon breaks, and you should be fine!:thumbsup2

The one time you might feel concert-level-crowded as you describe it is after fireworks or parades if you are watching from a popular spot. Animal Kingdom always has a more crowded feel to me, but in the other parks, there seems to be plenty of room for a LOT of people to move around. For a first-timer in June, I would highly suggest getting a subscription for Tour Guide Mike or Unofficial Guide, or both!

Does anyone think that the crowds may be a little less with the prices of everything? I'm not expecting to walk on the rides or anything, but possibly a little slower crowds. We are going in July so it is right in the middle of the busy time.

It would be nice, but I don't think so. There's another thread on Theme Parks and Attractions forum and most people think that the Europeans, Canadians, etc. will still be coming in droves due to the dollar dropping value.

We've been in June and if you leave by about lunch time it should be just fine. If it's a drizzly/rainy day it clears out even more.

I've been in June before and it is crowded, but you can definitely have fun. As the others said, you will only feel "concert crowded" after fireworks and parades.

Epcot is probably the best park for crowd control. It's really big and open so it never feels packed. AK is the worst. The paths are kind of narrow and you have to backtrack a lot to get around, so the paths always feel crowded, even in the slow season.

Go with a plan and be okay with the fact that you won't ride everything (though, it's hard to ride everything even in the slow seasons). The summertime has the highest percentage of "clueless" travelers- people who show up at 11am and wander the parks looking at their maps saying "What should be do next?" A knowledgable traveler should be fine.

I'd check out Tour Guide Mike. I have yet to use him, but I will once I start going in the summer again.
