crowds weekend of march 20

Hi All,

My daughter has a day off from school march 20th. Just wondering how crowded it would be friday the 20th - sunday 22. Does that coinside with spring breaks?

I am from the Meridian Idaho school district and that is the beginning of our school break. Our kid sare out Mar. 21-29. We will be there and have gone several other times during our spring break. It's crowded but manageable.

We are going that week. It's DH's b-day week, so we have been several times then. It is crowded with Spring Break, but good planning allows you to work around that. Get there early and utilize FP, and you should be great.

I will be there as well from 3/20 - 3/26. We are pulling our kids out of school for this trip. We are arriving 3/20 but I'm not sure that we will get into the parks that day. Since our first full day will be a Saturday, we will most likely spend most of the day in DCA and then maybe over to DL on Sunday.

I think that there will be fair amount of crowds at this time but not crazy busy. We normally go in early March or Sept and those times are definitely not so busy.

My kids are in the Meridian school district too! What a small world after all. We will be going during our spring break as well, but will not be there on the weekends. There will be big cheer conventions the weekend before and the weekend after, so I am sure that will impact the parks on those days they are there. We will try for Monday, but will definitely be there Tuesday through Friday for 4 days. I know my DS said he heard alot of kids from his classes saying their families were going then too.

I truly think that yes, it will be busy, but it will be better than last year or where Easter falls in March and then everyone would have the same spring break time. It is nice that someone has gone other times and finds it manageable. We found it that way mid August too, but are really nervous about taking on this challenge, but someone's experience makes me feel a little better.

All public schools in Oregon - universities included - are off for spring break from March 21 - March 29th. My kids have an additional day off. But we're going to Hawaii! Disneyland in April!

Ouch, bad time.

A huge chunk of West Coast schools will be off that weekend. If I'm not mistaken, UCLA's spring break is also then.

We'll be there along with a large chunk of my husband's company and their families. I also believe I read that there is a cheerleading competition that weekend so they will be there too.
