crowds week of june28-july 3

Hi i know it is a long time fro now but trying to put together a multi family trip to DL next year. We are thinking of going June 28th which is a Sunday and coming home on July 3 which is a Friday. We will be staying on site and have been before so know about going early etc. I myself have been in june but the 24th through the 29th looking for a little bit of advice of people that have been right before the 4th? Would we be better off going mid July / August? looking for any help/ advice. Thanks.

I’m not an expert, but... :

usually the days before the 4th of July are somewhat busier than mid-July or mid-August.

From what I have seen posted, the crowds this summer weren’t as bad as previous years, and the 4th of July wasn’t as crowded as expected.

JMHO, if you start early and use FastPass, then early-July, mid-July, or mid-August will be fine. You’ll have long hours, a full entertainment schedule, and probably zero refurbs.
