Crowds week of July 4?

Anyone know what the crowds at DLP will be like the week of July 4? I know it's not a holiday over there, just summer break, so I wondered how crowded it might be? TIA.

I'm interested in your answers too. We are going on 16th July Mon-Fri.

When we went 5 year ago in August we went over the weekend, I think Thurs-Mon. The weekend was very quiet for the time of year, or at least it seemed that way to us. We walked straight on rides several times and never queued very long for anything. I'm a bit worried we are going to be shocked by how busy it is this time. Are weekends quieter? I think when I booked I just chose the times the flights were cheapest.

Not all the countries will be on holiday on the 4th July, I know the English aren't until nearer the end of July. Scotland may have started the summer break.

I personally think it will be busy but not crowded. I would say Bastille day on the 14th will be crowded as it is a national holiday in France.

I think weekends tend to be busier as more local people have the weekends off.

I would imagine the nearer to August the more busy it is going to become.

Not all the countries will be on holiday on the 4th July, I know the English aren't until nearer the end of July. Scotland may have started the summer break.

Scotland, NI, and the Scandanavian countries are on holiday but I think it's another fortnight before the French go.

We're there for 6 days from the 1st and hence are also wondering what it will be like, as last year we went during the last week in June (see kids? see school holidays? curses!)

We have been that week before. It will be very busy the day before, Sunday 26th, as many people will come to see the final showing of Fantillusion and Wishes but there will be a noticeable difference in the crowds the next day, Monday 27th. Although it's still school holidays it will be much less crowded than the previous weeks. The only downside to coming that week is the summer shows will also have finished.

We will be there the week July 2nd to 8th. I know Irish schools (in the Republic) will all be off school and I know a few people going. But I am hoping that with French schools only finishing mid week, we will be able to enjoy at least two or three days relative quiet before it goes mental. The weekend 7th and 8th are pretty much a write off as I imaging they will be crazy. but with all the weekdays before, we hope to have done everything by then and just be able to relax.

We are going from the 4th to the 9th and I see the park hours are extended during that time, so it must be getting crown in there. Hopefully we can utilize extra magic hours and take our time and just not let the crowds get us down, because we are getting sick of dealing with hordes of rude people, which seem to come out in mass when DLP is busy.
