Crowds Week of Feb 13

My DW and DD5 have scheduled a trip for the week of February 13, 2006 (the week before President's Day week). We went over the President's Day week last year (2005) and the crowds were horrible...However the weather was great. We were hoping to "cash" in on the nice weather again while missing the crowds by going a week earlier. I was reading elsewhere that there may be lots of cheerleaders in the resorts during this time. Any input is appreciated...

Hi and welcome to the DIS!

You will miss the crowds for the most part...although it will start getting crowded by the Thursday (2/16/06) before the long weekend.

I do want to caution you that the weather at that time of year is not a given....I'm glad you had great weather last year but there are some days in February that start out in the 30s and struggle to get to 50 degrees!
