We've been many times in October, but never at spring break time. We've always stayed at RPR or HRH. But I see their park hours drop starting 4/20 to 9 -6, from 9 - 9 the week before, so I am wondering if that means that FOTL is less important. We are only making a quick one day trip and are considering staying offsite. Anyone think the lines will be a problem or is it still important to stay onsite for FOTL? Thanks for your help.

After Easter the crowds will thin out nicely so you shouldn't have to worry about staying onsite and you shouldn't need to purchase the Express Plus passes...but if you decide the lines are too long, you can always purchase them at either park.
