Crowds throughout the day? Is DHS miserable all day? (obviously subjective question)

Were you a party if 1? And what time of day did you pull these FP?

Party of 3. We were there from about 10-3. Can't remember specific times we got each one.

You might have been lucky bc the crowds from buses were stuck outside security. My parents were in line for 45 mins yesterday morning outside MK.

Yikes! That is unfortunate. I hope that your parents had a good time in the park once they got in.

We got to MK around 11am, the lines for bag check looked worse than usual but I assumed that was due to very careful checking. Inside the park things seemed fine. (We arrived by bus from All Star Sports) no major line ups for non FP rides/meets, able to get additional FPs, got a good spot for the parade 15 mins before, same for the fireworks. Maybe we did get lucky. My baseline for comparison are Dec crowds, I may need to reset my “normal” gauge.

With that being said, I’m still not going back to DHS! That was a madhouse even by my gauge. I should have known something was up when they skipped the finger scan and waved us in with MB tap only.

we are going over the morning on monday march 9th to try to get on RoRist. We will be there in the late afternoon due to FP for Midway mania and star tours.

Hopefully it will be okay. If we can't get in I will go the Star Wars shop at the front.

Brother is there... all week at all the parks the crowds have been bad for them. They went to Epcot on Tuesday and Figment had over an hour wait.... Figment?

When we were there back 3rd week of Jan... it was the worst I have every seen. And no the crowds don't go away. In the past, Animal Kingdom was best if you went late afternoon, as everyone is leaving. Could ride most anything but Pandora without a FP or wait. Not that wasn't the case in Jan. The only time I'd say crowds were low were for Fireworks at Epcot - other than the wait for the Skyliner afterward. Thankfully we were just walking by on our way to Dolphin. But still the attraction waits were all over an hour when we got there about about 7:30, so opted to walk World Showcase and shopped and people watched.

But if you want to know about crowds... just use the app to check wait times throughout the day. Who knows if this is a one time perfect storm, or the new norm.... with all the new attractions coming on line.

Man if we get a price bump each time....
