Crowds this upcoming Tuesday (02-16-10)

Hello all!

I hope you are all doing great and enjoying whatever life has in store for this month. I apologize for asking another crowd related question (I know, I know), but I am just a little confused about Disneylands hours for this upcoming Tuesday.

I am aware that Monday is Presidents day, so to expect Kiddo's to be off of school and enjoying Disneyland, but I was not aware of an continuing Holiday on Tuesday.

The park hours are from 9am to 11pm. Which for a Tuesday during the off season are long hours.

Was just wondering if there were an continuing school breaks this week that I am unaware off.

I think some kids have the whole week off for president's day.

Many, many school districts now give the whole week off, and DLR has adjusted their hours because of expected crowds.

We live in the Bay Area and my dd has next week off for winter recess. We are planning to visit the park.

Disneyland is expecting high attendance this upcoming week to the holiday and is having high staffing and extended hours because of that.

Ummm, all I keep thinking is, "Why didn't I get all these weeks off when I was in school?!?!?!"

I mean, a week in October, a week in February, spring break (ok, so I did get that week), but I mean what is up with this??? So you have a really long school year to make up for these week long holidays???

BTW - I am only bringing this up because I am totally jealous!

Hi neighbor. I live in Kirkland, WA (Seattle area) and my kid will be in school all days next week except for Presidents Day. I guess I am lucky cause that means I end up going the week after and hopefully miss Presidents crowd.
