Crowds the week of 12/19

Thinking about going to DL the week of 12/19 - 12/23. What kind of crowds should I expect?

I will be there during that time too. Honestly, I expect there to be pretty large crowds. The park hours for those days are 8am to midnight which is usually a pretty good indication that they are planning for high attendance. Projected lower attendance days usually have earlier closing/later opening time.

We are going to be there that week too!!

We will be there the 23-27. I'm hearing kinda busy up to the 24 and then not so busy Thanksgiving weekend due to block out AP dates. The kinda busy is not quite as busy as summer, but close.

We are there friday dec 17 to weds the 22nd. Considering you are still able to book rooms, it will be bad ,but not the following week bad. Just use the fast passes and expect crowds. If there is rain, it will go down. Either way it will be fun and I love the xmas decorations, especially the tree at the grand california

It will be busy. Most schools are out, I believe the cheaper SoCal APs are blocked, but Deluxe is not.

BUT -- the operating hours are long Go early in the morning and hit the rides you want, collect FPs. Go back to your hotel around lunch time and take a siesta, hot tub dip, whatever. Head back into the parks at night, enjoy the decorations and festivities, use those FPs! DLR at Christmas is beautiful and magical
