Crowds the week BEFORE Presidents week?

Can anyone give me an idea of what it's like at this time? We've always gone in the fall and would like to avoid heavy crowds if possible. Will we miss the bulk of the crowds if we go the week before Presidents Week?

I once asked a CM when the least crowded time to come was and she told me the week after New Years up until the week before Presidents Week. I would assume that since most people go during Presidents week ( alot of schools have this entire week off) that the week before would be more crowded than say, the week before that, but definitely less crowded than that week. You will probably see the crowds increase as the week gets closer to Presidents week, like maybe the Thurs, Fri and Sat leading into Pres. week.

We typically go every year during that week. Friday before can be crowded, but before then, it's a piece of cake! We love that week!!

Thanks...I was begining to think that we made a big mistake! I guess even a busy day at Disney is better than any day at work!

We went in Feb 2004 on Thursday before President's Day through President's Day. Thursday and Friday the crowds were low but on Saturday, Sunday and Monday the crowds were as big as I have ever seen them except New years Eve.

When we've gone in February, it's been either the 1st or 2nd week, and the crowds were really light....I think the latest we've ever been has been Valentine's Day.

We're actually going Feb 14 thru the 20th so we're keeping our fingers crossed! Presidents day is the 21st so I'm hoping we'll be able to enjoy most of it.

We'll be there Feb. 6-18. From my research, it looks like crowds are low up until the Friday before Pres. Day, and then they skyrocket! We'll be out of there right before the crowds hit. So I think you'll be fine.

We'll be there Feb 11- 20th and are looking forward to low crowds and warm weather!

Our first time in February too. It is my DH Christmas present. We will be there 2/2-7 and I am more worried about being snowed in up here then crowds down there, lol.

I'm going Feb. 3d-7th with my best friend for my birthday. Sounds like the crowds will be lighter than ever for me (usually go Summer, Spring Break, other school breaks) Can't wait!!
