Crowds the week AFTER Thanksgiving

Last year was our 1st time going right after Thanksgiving. We are like you, typically we go the 1st week of Dec. Last year we went for 15 days. The parks almost empty out on that Sun. And the following week is not crowded til about Thurs. We will be there again this Nov./Dec. right after Thanksgiving and looking very forward to it.

Add another family that is going to be there. We arrive 11/23 and leave on 12/02. Splitting our stay between POLY and AKL. We are also attending MVMCP on 11/28.

Staying at the Swan for Thanksgiving weekend just the 4 of us

Then staying at Pop with my parents joining us for the 1st time ever! (please pray for me!!) We will be at Pop from the 25th-2nd also! Sounds like lots of you will be there that week at Pop too!


p.s. Is everyone putting up there X-mas tree at home before they leave so when they get back in early December the house will be decorated and ready for the holidays? We are doing it the weekend before Thanksgiving!

We're also putting up our Christmas decorations the weekend before Thanksgiving. I think I'm driving my wife nuts because I've already starte to haul up the Christmas tubs from the basement. We will be fully decorated by Thankgiving day so when we return on 12/2 we're ready for the Holidays.

I have to check out the meet thread, since we'll be at MVMCP on the 28th as well. This is going to be a great trip!!!

Here is the meet up time from the other thread:

Meet on the bridge to tomorrowland at 9:15, right before wishes on Nov. 28th. This is during the Christmas party.

You need to pick up a Yellow Mickey head from Home Depot so we will know each other. I understand you get this at the paint department there.

Maybe we could meet at Pirates ride around 5-5:30 and then plan to meet later for Wishes??

Looks like quiet a few Disers will be there! :

We arrive on Thanksgiving Day and stay through Dec. 3rd. We will be at POFQ until Nov. 26 and then move over to the YC. We are going to MVMCP on the 27th and 28th. We've gone to MVMCP twice during our stay for the past 3 years or so and really enjoy it. We leave MK to do on those two nights and it works for us since my DS8 typically stays on our time (2 hours behind FL) so staying up until midnight is not a stretch for him ... more of one for me! For us it is worth it but for others it may not be ... I love MK at night with all the lights.

We are putting up all our Christmas decorations before we leave on Thanksgiving Day. We might not get the tree up but everything else should be done.

I had started this meet on the Tour Guide Mike Board and we decided on Yellow as his shirt is yellow. Then somewhere along the lines I invided the Dis board to Join us. I will be showing both Mickeyhead colors so don't worry you will spot us all.

We will be there 11/25-11/28, first time at the CR. We have no plans to do MVMCP unless I talk my mom into it. We have season passes and she feels it will be enough to go in the park instead of spending more money no extra tix.

And yes we are putting up our decorations before we leave also I think it is going to be such an exciting time for us we are putting them up the day before we leave. The day after Thanksgiving. I can not wait!
