Crowds the week AFTER Thanksgiving

We'll be there 11/23-11/26 at WL and then moving over to the Poly for 11/26-12/2. MVMCP on 11/27.

I'm a little worried, my TA is telling me that all of the MK resorts are booked solid and the ADRs are down to slim and none now. Here's hoping for great weather, good crowds, and lots of fun for everyone

If I see the lime green mickey head I'll say Hi, so beware

We went last year at the same time. It was GREAT. The crowds were not there---we walked on rides with little or no wait. We went to MVMCP that Tues. night (it was the 29th). The nights were a little chilly,(for a Southerner), but other than that, it was great.

Yeah we'll be there too! Nov 25th -Dec 3rd staying at POP and attending MVMCP the 28th. WE are celebtating our anniversary the 26th!!!! I can't wait. I've heard this is a slow time but all the ADR are full everywhere so I'm getting nervous anyone else notice this? Almost there!!!

Me and my BF will be there Nov. 25th-Dec 2nd at POP too. We still don't know if we're doing the MVMCP while we're there tho. It's our first time there during the holiday season, is it worth the money? I was also kind of freaked out when I went to make ADR and reserve an illuminations cruise for the 26th of NOV (which is my bday ). When we called they had no illuminations left at all and only one whishes boat, which we grabbed. As for as dinner we ended up not booking for the 26th but we got reservations for sat. and the rest of the week no problem. Maybe we just didn't pick places that were that popular.

The countdown to disney is driving me nuts! I'm currently in the process of moving and have to be done by the time we leave for dis cuz my lease is up while we're there. lol. i guess next time I'll plan my trips at a better time, like not while I'm moving and dealing with thanksgiving...opps

We will be there 11/24-11/29. So glad to hear the crowds are not too bad. We have only been to DW during the summer months. It'll be great even if the crowds are a slight bit lighter. Can't wait!!!

We went this same week last year and will be going the same week next year '07! I'll be living vicariously though you guys for this year. We did MVMCP last year and are planning on MVMCP next year as well!

Well, I can help you out with what it stands for - "Lime Green Mickey Heads". Lime green is kinda like the identifying color for DISers to recognize each other while at WDW. But I'm not sure where a person can get the Mickey heads, so hopefully someone else will chime in to fill in the rest.

Lime Green Mickey Heads are found at Home Depot in the paint department.

Behr makes a line of Disney paint colors. The samples (little papers you bring

home when trying to choose a paint color) have a Mickey Head shape.

They're FREE and the official color of the DISers is "alien green". People bring

them to WDW attached to bags, luggage, strollers, etc.

We've been to WDW in the summer months before, but this year we're going in December for the first time ever!! We usually take a fall trip to DL, but I just finished my masters degree and we decided it was worth the splurge. We will be at POFQ from December 2 - 9 (heading home early on the 10th). I know it's pop warner superbowl at the end of the week and the resorts will be crowded, but we're hoping the parks are more calm than we've seen when we've gone in the summer heat. Any thoughts?

When we go during the holiday time we've been going the second week of December but it has gotten pretty busy (IMO) and we're hoping the week after Thanksgiving is better. The only thing I'm nervous about now is I wanted to avoid the taping of the Christmas parade at all costs at MK (which I thought was just Dec. 1st and had avoided MK all that day) but we have lunch ADR's at LTT for Dec. 2nd at MK and I'm sure it will be crazy there. As we are not crowd people (even if we are just hanging out and not intending to ride anything) we may have to plan something else for that day.

There's a HUGE difference from summer crowds. The parks will feel practically empty. But then if you keep going at that time of the year, you'll get spoiled and start wishing it was MORE uncrowded and that everyone should stay away from going during YOUR week.
