Crowds the last week in May?

So I'm taking my girls on a last minute trip beginning May 25th - 28th. Any idea on how the crowds will be? Have you been during that time? I hear that there is a grad party one night is that true? Does the park really close at 6:00 for that?

I was there the last weekend of May last year (weekend after Memorial day) and it wasn't too busy at all. That was also a saturday. I think since school is mostly still in session, you are in good shape, not many people will cut out a week or so early.

Fantasmic re-opens on May 28 after being down for 5 months. Expect a surge of crowds for that.

I go around this time every single year. My favorite time to go. Park hour are longer except for on the 27th (Of this year) for grad night. But currently DL closes at 9 and DCA closes at 6pm. Every other night that week closes at 11 or 12. So that is always a bonus. But the crowd level is always decent. Not slow, but not crazy busy either. The major rides like Indiana Jones, Splash or space Mountain might have 45 minute-hr wait, but others may only have a 15-20. Just make good use of those fast passes and you will be totally comfortable.

I too am going around these dates, and I do have to agree that Fantasmic will draw in more people as it has been down for awhile, and there is a possibility of soft openings for the World of Color which might bring in even more people to view. I honestly cant say how these 2 are going to effect park crowd levels, but I do expect it to be a tad busier then normal. So definitely Fast Pass it.

Although I've never been during this time, we will be there twice this time around because of Splash Mountain being closed the first wknd we are there, and we are getting "buy 3, get 2 free" tkts...I figure next weekend (21-23rd) when we are there it won't be as bad, but the following weekend (first weekend Splash Mountain is open after being closed for 10 days, Fantasmic open again, Memorial Day wknd, possible soft opening of WOC) will be much busier...but I'm willing and able! it will be fun no matter what!!
