My husband and I spent our honeymoon in Disney this past September-October and purchased APs. We were thinking of returning sometime the first week of June, right after Memorial Day and we were wondering what the crowds were like then. Has anyone been at this time of year?? Thanks for your help!!

My wife and I were there during that same this last summer and 2 years before that. The lines were long and the weather hot. 90-95 every day. I guess if you are going to go in the Summertime, that is the time to do it. I hear that the lines get even longer when all the schools get out.

Enjoy your trip.

We usually go to Disney this time of year. Park attendance on weekdays is somewhat busy, but manageable, especially compared to later in the summer. The exception being the first Saturday of June at the MK, there is a GayDay event, and the park is crowded, however, the MK is crowded almost every Saturday so I don't know if crowds are up specifically because of the event...there are sizeable conventions and gatherings at Disney year round.

You may find the weather HOT, depending on what part of the US you are from...living in Texas, it is just the norm for us to have hot June weather and Florida is no different.

We were there 5/31 to 6/6 and we thought it was crowded and very hot. The lines were long during the week, fastpass helped a lot. We thought it was crowded while we were there but on the day we were leaving (Sunday), it seemed twice as bad. Although it was crowded, it wasn't so bad that we wouldn't go back LOL.

Thanks for the tips. I've been in mid July and by my standards (we are from New England) the heat was oppressive. Therefore, we were trying to choose a time of year where the heat might not be as much of an issue and the crowds might not be as bad because schools are not all out yet. However, it sounds like even the first week of June is busy and hot. Oh well...even with heat and crowds, Disney is still fun. Thanks again!

The Unofficial Guide to WDW has a new daily attendance expected chart. We are looking at June 4-11 and those days are mainly rated a 6 except for Saturday, June 4 which is an 8. This is on a scale of 1-10.

We went last year from Memorial Weekend to June 4. MK was crazy on the Tuesday after Memorial Day. We didn't have a problem with the rest of the parks.

we went this past june 4-11th.

big crowds, but we were used to off season. we got up early, used EE and fastpass and went back to the hotel after lunch, returning to a park after dinner.

very very hot. 95 and humid everyday. and it rained every day as well, not just the short shower you hear about but t-storms with rain lasting for hours. make sure you bring your ponchos!

We were there June 3 - 9 this year and except for the MK, the parks were manageable. Saturday (GayDay) at the MK was unbelievably crowded. Sunday, the next day at the MK, was equally bad. I think a lot of families avoided Saturday because of Gay Day and went on Sunday instead.

Monday - Wednesday were much, much better. Not empty, but not packed either.

I think if you can go off season DO!!!!! Avoid the summer months in any way! It is hot, crowded and makes everyone grumpy. I would not go the first week of June.

We are also thinking of going the 4th - 11th. I think it will be hot and crowded but will only get worse as the summer goes on, so we'll make the best of it!:D
