For some strange reason, DS5 and DS7 have St. Pat's day off as a holiday this year. (we just moved to Savannah, and St. Pat's is huge here, so maybe that's why-does anyone else have that day off as a holiday?) It's on a Friday, it is DS7's birthday, and this year we plan to skip b-day parties for him, DS5(January) and me (January) and go to WDW for a weekend. I called about ressies, and that is considered PEAK season. I think she said peak starts mid February. Anyway, I can't figure out why that time would be crowded, it's no where near Easter break. Any thoughts or experiences?? Thanks!

We went about 5 years ago on St Pats day and it was no more crowded then normal which wasn't to bad in mid march yet with Spring Breakers. They didn't put any emphasis on the holiday at all in Disney, we are a very Irish family so we wore green derby hats and all green clothes that day but didn't see much of it. Also, it's not a holiday off of school so that doesn't come into play. Hope this helps.

My college spring break was always during St Pats day. The crowds weren't too bad although we did have to utilize fast pass alot. Wx is always perfect that time of year.
