Crowds on January 8th? (Sun)

I will be in LA for a clini and only have the 8th do get to the parks. Will it be super crowded all day? We won't be able to get there untill 1pm or so.

I thought that even though DL would be more crowded it is open later so it would be a better bet. What do you guys think?

I am attending a Children's Pastor's Conference at the Convention center that ends on the 7th. I know last year several people stuck around for the weekend to visit DL. Our group of 5 only went into the park for a few hours on Thursday evening (4pm-9pm) and were able to ride just about every ride in the park. I imagine that the crowds will be a little worse this year, but you should still be able to enjoy your visit!
