My sister and her family are wanting to go to Disneyland during Christmas time. Would January 2 be just as busy as the week between Christmas and New Years Day? My guess is that it would not, but I haven't been there in a while to know.

Thanks in advance!

I'm not speaking from personal experience, just based on my own research, since I arrive Jan. 3. Yes, it will be probably just as crowded. I signed up for RideMax and for my time frame, Jan. 3 - 9 mid-day ride times are at around 110 minutes.

WOW. I am planning on going Jan. 4-6th. Also quick question how is the weather usually during Jan.

weather can be depending. Some times rain and others we are in shorts...

Also over the years the park has been getting busier and busier. We go at that time as my DS6 is still out of school along with a lot of so. cal schools.

We were there last year on January 2nd, and when we left at 5pm, the park was at capacity and the gates were closed. The morning wasn't too bad, we spent it at DCA, and then had reservations for Ariel's Grotto at about 1:00, and then headed over to DL immediately after. We entered DL at about 2:30 or 3:00, and it took us until 5:00 to get to Pirates, wait in line, and go on the ride.

So, would you say that it really wouldn't matter if they went before or after January 1? They need to return home on Thursday the 4th.

Thanks!
