We are doing a quick trip from 10/29-10/31(thank you southwest ding fares). Does anyone know how the crowds will be during that period? I look up touring plans but they can be off and I thought our last trip was much more crowded than reported.
I would like to know to we are going for the same time (28-31) We are going to the parks one full day-29th (Epcot and maybe AK) and we are going to MNSSHP on the 30th. We are hoping to have time do all the good rides on MK during MNSSHP. According to UG the 29th is a 6 out of 10. I have no idea how relaible UG is.
The fact that MNSSHP has only sold out the night of the 31st is (hopefully) a good indication that the crowds won't be horrific the weekend before. And, it looks like a lot of the people that bought tickets for the 31st bought them for the sole purpose of making some big bucks on ebay (there's gobs of them listed right now and most aren't selling for anything higher than face value). Just go and don't worry about it...if the crowds are larger than you thought just plan on getting to the parks early and using FastPass as much as possible. We are going to be there 10/25 to 10/31 and that's the strategy we plan to use.
Weve been at WDW around those dates a couple times in the recent past. The only time I thought any of the parks were kind of crowded was at Epcot on a Saturday during the F & W Festival.
You can definitely accomplish a lot in MK during MNSSHP and in the couple hours before the party!
We went on Halloween 2 years ago and crowds were light. MSSHP was busier than other evenings, but not what I'd call packed (and it was sold out Halloween night, when we were there).
We are going to be there October 27 - November 2 and I was wondering how crowded it would be also. We have tickets for MNSSHP on Halloween night and I am really hoping the crowds are manageable. We can't wait to experience Halloween at Disney!!

We were there last year for Halloween Night. It was crowded, but manageable. As for the rest of the week, it was no big deal. 20 minutes tops for all rides. Like the rest of the great state of Cheese, we are returning this year, same time.

We were there over Halloween weekend last year. The crowds seemed biggest on Monday, which seemed rather strange to me. Anyway, crowds over the weekend were larger than I expected but in no way compared to last week (fall break for us). AKL, where we stayed, seemed pretty much full on Friday and Saturday nights -- nowhere near as busy on the other evenings.
The general crowds at Disney around Halloween are generally low. It is a really great time to visit. I still think the 28th (is that the last Friday) MNSSHP party will sell out by the night of.
One thing I've always noticed is Fantasyland will be crowded. Lots of little ones for this party on Halloween Night. So, don't be too put off for the lines for Peter Pan, Pooh, also Buzz will be crowded.
