Hi all! First post wooo!

So, my wonderful best friend and I are planning a trip to Paris on/around my 22nd birthday, and I have decided that, since we are so close, it would be a bit rude not to visit DLRP really! ;)

Looking at the dates we are planning to go (28th feb- 3rd March) We would be going to Disney for a day on the 2nd March, which is a Sunday. This is the best day for us to go as we are a little restricted by the time of the best friend can take, and we will have the whole day to make the most of the parks.

I just wondered if anyone could give me an idea of what the crowds are like on a Sunday in March. Also, any tips on how to make the most of our time there would be fabulous! Thanks! :cheer2:

It won't be too crazy since you're planning to go in a really quiet time of year.
But something I definitely recommend is: stick to the main park.
You really won't be having time to visit both parks.
One day isn't even enough for only one park.

Interesting. We were planning to try and visit both (since we are both roller coater nuts) But I thought we would start in studios, as I can only think of three attraction we want to do there and then head over to the main park.

Besides, the price of a two park ticket, is what I would pay to see a musical I love in the West End, so... to me it's affordable lol. :thumbsup2

I'm definitely going in with the knowledge we won't get everything done. But both of us know what our must do's are. Anything we do beyond those are a bonus.

If you DO decide to do both parks, which are the 3 rides in Studios you want to do? I ask because if one of them is Crush's coaster, get there maybe 30 mins before the Studios opens and go straight too it. You'll get the most out of your time them because that often has the longest time. Being coaster nuts I'm guessing you'll want to do Rock n Rollercoaster? Queue for that isn't ever too bad. What's the 3rd one?

Yes Rock n Rollercoaster, never got the chance to ride at WDW! Other one is ToT (though to be fair, this one is entirely dependent on how brave I'm feeling! XD) We may alsp try and do some of the toon studios rides but again, that's a bonus if we have enough time.

Yes I had planned to get there because I know they let you join the queue at 9:30

I booked our park tickets today so it's happenning!! EEP!

We are just back, was there Sat 8th - Wed 12th Feb

crowds were OK on Sunday, didn't really have to wait too long for anything.

one of our gr8 tips was when going on Thunder mountain to go into the left line when queing, as even when its quiet, there is generally a long que in the right lane and wee always passed by those silly people waiting in the line (which was only listed as 15 min wait anyway).

Thanks for the tip! :) Definitely going to try that!

Well it should be to busy since this week England school have there february half term holidays and wales is had the half term next form 24-28 February.

but there are French school holidays from now right through to mid-March -

Yeah I looked that up yesterday. I'm keeping an eye on wait times using the app so I know roughly what we are in for. Basically we are going to enjoy what we do get done, and anything we don't... well we'll just have to go back one day won't we? ;)

Besides, I'm a child and I wanted to go as close to my birthday as I possibly could! :rotfl:

I have done both parks in 2011 with my boyfriend, and I thought it was totally possible!
We we're there just as the gates oppened, and started with Studios. Did rock'n'roller coaster, RC racer, tower of terror twice, Slinky, Cars, watched the stunt show (as my boyfriend is crazy about cars :P), took pictures with a few characters... Then we headed to the Disneyland Park, in which we did all roller coasters, the cups, carousell, Buzz, Pirates... Nearly all rides, actually, except for the little children ones. At one point, we were feeling so tired that we just sat in front of Big Thunder Mountain and stayed there for a while, absorving the magic. And keep in mind that the parks closed at 18h that day!

Overall, my main advice in to take snacks with you and eat them while wainting on queues, start with the park that closes earliest (which is Studios), do a little bit of running, save the shopping for later at the Village... And chose a quiet day. Also, I think this would have been impossible if we had any children in our party, but that doesnt seem to be your case.

Plan ahead an I'm sure you'll pull it off! I'll be doing it again in a few weeks :p

Yes with kids... Still on the smallish side! I'd love to commando through both and hit the highlights but I'm convincing myself that it will be best to slow down, enjoy one and not kill ourselves
