crowds near Memorial Day weekend?

Hi all,
I'm trying to plan a trip for next May and I'm wondering how crowded it is the week before Memorial Day? We don't really have to go that week but I do recall that's when my boys started bringing home old school work, seemed like they were cleaning out their desks a little and homework slowed to a crawl.
For any other Jersey girls: is it about as busy as Jersey Week or more crowded?
We've never gone during summer or holidays and wouldn't want to go if it will be as crowded as Jersey Week. That's about as crowded as I can stand.

DD graduates 8th grade and we wanted to do a trip for graduation but I was thinking of the last week of may into june or the week prior to that! because June I hear is HOT! And we wouldnt be able to go until the lhird week of June! Where about in South jersey are you?

We've been there in early May and it was great but ds will be in 5th & 2nd grades and don't want them missing so much school. It really gets harder to make up the work as they get older. I was hoping to do the week before Mem Day at Disney then Mem Day weekend at USO onsite to get FOTL.
My neighbor went once during 3rd week of June and said she never saw it so packed. 2hr wait for everything. I thought if Mem Day is like that, I'll have to pick another week.
I heard 1st week of June is very crowded due to Gay Days.

Yeah! I was thinking June would be hot! I was told May was a good time to go! Not to Hot yet is this true? We're in Lower Township, NJ apprx 15 minutes from WiLdWoOd ! Yeah thats about how it was when we were there over our spring break which fell over easter! and the fast passses were up tp 5pm at 11am in the morning! It was Nutz never again! It's a trip for my dd's 8th grade graduation but I'm thinking of even possibly going in February over the presidents day holidays! So right now I'm torn between February maybe even early March or May! I guess I'll have to wait til September to see what the school schedule looks like for testing etc.....but any input would be great!

We've been twice in early May. First time highs around 88, 2nd time around 91. very low crowds and perfect days at TL/BB! I've heard Prez. Day is crazy busy too and ask around but many posters say airlines are already sold out.
Usually you can go online to get your town's school schedule for 07-08. Ours has been out since around April.
My dh would never go during big holidays and that's why I'm worried about Mem Day. I was hoping the week prior would not be as crowded as the week of Mem.Day. If we flew home that Mon, maybe most people are just arriving? I don't mind the heat as much as I mind the crowds.
Maybe there's a teacher's inservice you can plan around?

From late April through late May, crowds are low. Plus, with Epcot's Flower and Garden Festival going on, there's plenty to do in Epcot. It's one of my favorite times of year to visit Walt Disney World!
