Are the pools at POR (or other mod or deluxe resorts) less crowded than the value resorts? I have stayed at the values when I hated it and other times loved it and I finally realized the times I hated where when it was very busy. I can't stand when the pools are so crowded that you can't even move around (and grounds also). With this said, if I stay at PC for part of my spring break trip will the pools and grounds be like this?

:)

During our WL stay, the main pool was busy, but did not feel over crowded. We were always able to find a chair. We'd go over to the quiet pool, and only a few other people (if any) would be there. We nearly always had the pool to ourselves.

The CR pools were not crowded, either. (No, we didn't pool hop, but we did visit the resort several times for dinner, etc.)

I've stayed at the POFQ in May (2000) and the AKL in August (2003) and the pool never seemed overly crowded to me. I wasn't picky about my lounge chair (had no trouble getting one). I was in the pool with my young kids so I wasn't swimming laps or anything but I never had problems with others bumping into us or bumping into them :teeth:

Our experience is that the quiet pools are really quiet. Main pools are more crowded, but we've never seen any other pool even close to as crowded as All Stars was when we were there in June.
