I was just looking at my son's school calendar for the next school year. We typically go the week after Thanksgiving because it is so quiet but probably can't go that week this year. Spring break is April 9-13 (Easter is April 8th) but I know it will be crazy crowded. I noticed that he has a long weekend in March because of teacher workdays (March 8-11). How crowded do you think that time will be? Is that still considered low season? We are just trying to find an alternate time to go that won't be crazy crowded since we got spoiled with the park being fairly quiet in December. Thanks for your input and help!

I was wondering the same thing. We will be there Friday and Saturday and off on a week long cruise. I am hoping the crowds are not too much. Any thoughts???/

We went March this year and found the crowds to be really manageable. I think we got in before most of the spring breaks started. Wait times were really good, 5 or 10 minutes at the most. We have also been in November and found March to be a little busier than then. Weather was also good. Perfect days although a little chilly at night.

I myself have never been to DLR in March, but my ex sis in law used to go in March and loved it. She loved the cooler weather & the smaller crowds. After her 1st March trip, she made March an annual thing with her family. If I recall correctly, it was mid-March.

When you say cooler weather, what do you mean? Jeans and short sleeve shirts during the day or could the boys get away with shorts??? What suggestions do you have for clothing?:laundy:

March will probably be cool days-possibly shorts for the boys- and even cooler nights. Could be sweatshirt cool also. Could rain for 3 days or be perfect weather.

You're a full month before easter next year so you shouldn't expect spring break crowding. I've talked to a couple of CM and spring break at the resort is at least a 5 week event. 3 weeks before and a couple after. I doubt that any local schools will be ona spring break that early.
