Crowds Labor Day Weekend. Who is going?

We went two years ago and it was very manageable. When I was making my ressie yesterday with code AZZ, there was pelnty of availability. The CM said bookings were down . She had everything I inquired about-Poly GVC, Poly Gv, POR, and POFQ and I was looking to book two rooms.

Today, when I called to make PS's, I was able to get all the EXACT times I wanted, which has NEVER happened (it's always ten minutes off here or there). The CM was very surpirsed! I also got Breakfastsaurus for that Saturday morning at 8:00am for five people.

Well, I do know that FL schools are starting back much earlier (DS goes back Aug 16), so that may have to do with it.

We'll be there for the weekend. Staying off-site for 3 nights. Will be at the parks Saturday and Sunday. Those annual passes are a BAD influence. Here's hoping for small crowds and some Disney magic!!

I will be there with a friend who hasn't been in about 25 years! We are going for the weekend and staying at POR.

We went last Labor Day weekend (2003) and the crowds were very manageable. There were some rides in which a fast pass was favorable, but over all the experience was great. We had a group of 7 and had a blast. If I could, I would go again around this time, but we will be there in October instead.

My family and I will be there Labor Day weekend too. Actually we will be there Aug. 31 through September 8. We can't wait.

These are our exact dates too, but we will be at BWV. I am expecting crowds and hope to be pleasantly surprised if there isn't. The last time we took a trip in the "off-season (last week of Sept/beginning of Oct) I was expecting very light crowds and it turned out to be more crowded than what I had imagined. SO, I am taking the opposite approach for this trip .

we'll be there from august 30th, flying home on labor day monday... hoping for light crowds but planning on avoiding the parks on saturday (as i hear that's the busiest of the weekend)...

We'll be at Universal from 9/3-9/5 and at WDW in the WL from 9/6-9/12. We can't wait, although I'm nervous about the crowds at Universal on Labor Day weekend.

We went to WDW for our honeymoon in '97 immediately after Labor Day and I don't remember waiting in long lines anywhere. It was a very pleasant trip!

We'll be there 9/3-9/6.. staying at AKL the first night and the Poly the next 2 nights.. we went last year at this time also and the crowds were very light.. I don't think we had more than a 10-15 min. wait for anything.

My mom and I will be there the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th. I'm thinking on the 4th, (Saturday) we will go to Epcot, in the hope that it will be the least crowded of the 4 theme parks.

We are going 8/28 - 9/5. First 7 nights at GF and the last night at AKL. I have made 22 PSs for this trip, reserved 5 tours, scheduled parasailing, Cirque, etc. and had no problem getting what I wanted. On a few occassions I had to make a PS that was like 10 minutes off what I requested.

The two of us have an ambitious but do-able plan for the week. I am hoping that crowds are not too bad so we can get a little more down time.

TWENTY TWO meals in eight days?! that's truly ambitious! there's no way i could eat that much, and i like to eat! LOL!

Hey, what can I say - you have to do some planning to get your money's worth out of the gold plan. (Actually, it's 8 nights, so we are spreading that across 9 days.)

We are going down for the weekend, as well. Leaving Boston 9/3 and returning 9/6. We are staying at POR. We just booked Wishes crusie and were very surpised there was still availability!!

We just decided to go down and use our last two pluses to hit the waterparks. I have been pleasantly surprised by the availability of rooms and PSs, so hope it won't be too crowded. I do realize a lot of locals probably hit the waterparks on weekends, but so be it.... We'll get there early and stay to the end.
