Crowds Jan 2

Can anybody give me their opinion on the crowds for this Saturday, Jan 2. I have a feeling its going to be heavy but im hoping im wrong.

There is one thing about Sat. the 2nd, both So Cal AP are blocked out which is why I'm going on Sun, the 3rd. (along with many other So Cal. AP) It's the last official day of Christmas. The So Cal. Select AP won't be able to go until Monday, the 4th.

We were there last year on the 2nd and it was extremely crowded. Even with the blockout APs I expect it to be really crowded.

All APs are blocked, except ours. We will be there too, and yup, I'm expecting crowds. But we went last year same time and it wasn't too crowded, hoping for the same trend this time.

- The APs are all blocked out because it will be very crowded without them.
- It's the last few days of the Christmas happenings.
- Very likely that Rose Bowl travelers will still be in town.

ON another board, Darkbeer says plan for HEAVY crowds. It's a combo of many factors, but that whole weekend should be slammed

We went on the 2nd and it really wasn't that bad for crowds. It progressively got more crowded as the day went on like usual. It was especially nice at DLR from 8-12 then we hopped over to DCA and it was really nice there too. When we went back to DLR around 5 it was sort of crowded but not more than you would expect for a weekend with nice weather. I was very happy that the weather was so nice and that the crowds were not excessive.

Also, the Texas football team was there in the afternoon.

We were there Dec. 27 - Jan. 3 and Jan. 2 was the least crowded day we saw at DL the entire time! Now, I'm sure it was still crowded, but it was noticeably less crowded than the other days. On the other days, Adventureland near Indy was completely impassable and we started avoiding it and using Frontierland, but it stayed relatively clear on Saturday Jan. 2.

We were there Jan 2 too! Yes, there were people there, but we were able to hit every attraction on our "must do" list. I agree that it was less crowded in the morning, but also I found it wasn't bad in the evening.
