Crowds in Sept?

My lovely wife and myself are going to Disney from Sept 7-13, anybody have any ideas what the crowds are like? Thanks in advance.

Even with free dining last year, it still wasn't too bad??? I have been so scared what the crowds will be like this year

We are going in Oct. Sept is love-bug season and I HATE bugs.

We went 2 Septembers ago. There was free dining then too. The crowds were minimal, especially if you go early. We were out of the parks by 5 pm each day. It's a great time to be there.

What crowds? LOL.. we went last september from the 10th to the 17th and I think our longest wait was about 20 minutes for Dumbo because it's always busy and there's no fastpass. Most other things were walk on or under 10 minutes wait. When the lines were a little longer we used fastpass.

One time we passed by Peter Pan and there was a 40-50 minute wait in line, but the fastpass return time was in 30 minutes.... I guess people just don't know about it!

Anyways, we were so happy with the lack of lines and crowds that we're going back again this year.. I think it's a great time to travel!

we went the first of oct. 2 years ago with freee dining and it was fantastic...the crowds were minimal and the weather beautiful. we are going this sept. and are hoping for minimal crowds as well....but what are love bugs?????

Love bugs are long black flies with a red/orange dot on their heads. They don't sting or bite, they're just a nusiance. They are around in May and September. The larger female wants a mate so she attaches herself end to end with the smaller male and once they're attached they stay that way. It looks like a long bug with a head and pair of wings on each end. They like wet areas around pools etc. There are MILLIONS of them. I read that their only natural enemy is the CAR. They can damage the paint on the car so you have to clean them off every day, unless you've got a rental and don't care.
We were there last Sept from the 22nd until the Oct 2 and by the end of our stay there were less. Good luck, I don't think I'd go in Sept again because of them and the heat and humidity, but the crowds are very light.
