Crowds at that time of year are low to moderate...low during the week and moderate on weekends. Since October is during Halloween Horror Nights, the Studios will get crowded towards afternoon with those coming in for HHN but IOA doesn't feel any affects. If you're going to both parks, I would suggest either doing the Studios in the morning and then hopping over to IOA for the evening or go on a day when HHN is not staged.

oct 1st to the end of the week is a great time to be there.
i check in on the 2nd for my stay.

you will see more in the park on later afternoon for thursday and a bit more on friday at the studios.
many peeps go early before hhn begins in order to catch the rides.

saturday is always a busy time.

if you stay onsite, you won't have any crowd issues on the weekend.

I'm wondering the same thing, but we're planning our trip for Oct 24-28.

How are the crowds closer to Halloween? Also, kinda wondering what Florida weather is like at the end of October.

Thanks to all you FL residents (or regulars) that have inside info. :)

Crowds for the theme parks during the day don't really increase that much but the Studios will draw lots more people in the evenings for HHN that week so be prepared. CityWalk will be slammed most of that week but then again it's pretty busy there every night.

The weather can be anywhere from hot and humid to cool and rainy. It's still hurricane season so the weather is very unpredictable more than a few days out.
