crowds in october?

I was planning on taking my first disneyworld trip in November, but then started looking into mnsshp. I love halloween but I am worried about the crowds. Any opinions?

I was there last October, and I would say the crowds were manageable. We used fastpasses and had great luck with the evening EMH. The weather is great in October too.

I use www.touringplans.com then click on crowd calendar, I hope this helps. I did MNSSHP on Sept 30, 2005, it was a lot of fun and I do plan to do it again in the future.

We were there last October the week just before Halloween and it really wasn't that bad at all. The MNSSHP was a little more crowded but we kind of expected that. It still was not all that bad.

I would try and avoid Columbus Day. We found that week to be extremely crowded. The first of October is very nice and uncrowded.
