Hi all...It looks like I will be accompanying DH to a conference at Coronado Springs Resort in March 2009 and picking up a few days at a DVC resort (probably AKL or VWL)afterwards...we've mostly traveled in January so I don't know what to expect in early March. I know Easter falls on April 12 next year so that won't be an issue, but will we hit any spring break traffic? Any other events we should know about (the conference is 3/8 - 3/11, we'll probably stay on thru the 15th or 16th...) TIA!;)

March will be considerably busier than January. Feb-April is high tourist season throughout Florida and WDW is busy at that time. You'll also be into the college spring break season. It'll be busy but the weather should be great.

We have been there twice in March. Though considerable busier then other times we go, not unbearable. We have been there as late as the Monday after Palm Sunday. That's when the Easter crowds hit. I think you'll be fine:goodvibes.

We have been there the past two years in early March and the crowds have not been too bad, but it will be busier than in January. Last year we had better weather in January than we did in March. This year we are only going in January, not March(two kids in college do not have the same spring break this year:sad1: ), but DH and I are going for 3 days in October:yay: :yay: I think you will enjoy March have a great time.

Two years ago I took DS for a "mom & me" trip for his birthday. We were there during the last week of March and the crowds were insane. It was, easily, the most crowded I'd ever seen the place.

That said, I think you're pretty safe in early March as most Spring Break weeks are in the second half of the month.
