Crowds in Late May???

We are going to IOA/US from May 20-25th. I've never been during this time before-- always in late August--so am unfamiliar with the parks crowd level. Is it bad? How does it compare to late August (which I've always found manageable)?

Well...assuming Harry Potter should be open around that time, the crowds will be insane! Otherwise...As with any holiday weekend, the parks will be busy.

That isn't the holiday weekend. It is the week before Memorial Day-- Memorial Day isn't until the 31st. With that info-- will it be busy? What if WWoHP IS open? Or ISN'T?

If you're going the week before the holiday and WWoHP is NOT open yet, the crowds will be manageable. If WWoHP IS open by then, the crowds will be insane.
