crowds in late July

Hi.

Normally I go the first few weeks of December (thanks to little crowds). But I very possibly may be undergoing a kidney transplant in the upcoming months and one of the things about the surgery is no rides that require a lap bar for 12 months, which pretty much rules out most of the fun attractions at Disney/Universal. So I am planning one last trip for July 19-26. Should I expect insane crowds or just busy crowds?

I'm right there with you, we have been in 5 different months, but never July..I hear we will be competing against heat, humidity, crowds and some very large overseas groups...woopee

We went the middle of July last year and were able to walk on almost every ride except for the usual ones, soarin, test track, space mountain, but other than that the lines were pretty short.

Touringplans.com posts anywhere from a 5-8 crowd level, but most days are a 6 or 7. Good luck on surgery. I'll be thinking of you.
