crowds in June

My husband and i usually go to disney the third week in april due to my teaching job. We are planning the next disney outing next year and with Easter being the third week next year we are avoiding. it. We are looking at going the last week of June instead. Can anoyone compare the crowd factor? What is the best week in the summer to go(besides the last week in august.) Thanks!!!!!!!!

Who needs spring break when its 75 degrees in MAssachusetts in APRIL!!

If you stay away from the 4th of July you should be OK. Early June is better since schools in the North are still in.

We'll be there from the 18-26. I'm expecting relatively crowded conditions since most schools will be out...not us in Mass but since I made these plans last fall, dd will miss the last 3 days of school. Temp in the high 80's. But I figure it will really start getting crowded towards the end of our stay since July 4 will be right around the corner.

goofy4tink I ALSO TEACH IN CENTRAL MA.!!! Where abouts? We get out on the 24. im planning the 25-july 2 next yr. just in case we have another eventful winter.

Late June is crowded. I would go with the suggestion for early June. As early as you can get to it. Many schools may still be in and most folks do not plan their vacation that early.

I'm at Disney the same time you are, Goofy4tink. Four nights at POR and 3 at AKL We went a week earlier in June a few years ago and it was crowded, but I expected worse. It rained everyday, but you throw your poncho on and keep going, no biggie. The closer to July 4th you stay, expect larger crowds.

I,ve always heard it starts gettin crowded after fathers day!!

I went the week before July 4th last year, stayed until July 5th. Never again! I guess there were regular "summer" crowds the first couple days, but as July 4th came closer it was just crazy.
