Crowds in Feb & April? Help me avoid the cheerleaders!

Hi! My family is looking to book a trip to Disneyland over one of the two school breaks that we have.

Break one is from February 16th-20th.

Break two is from April 20-24th.

We came last year in April over our break and overlapped a national cheer and dance competition. I can't for the life of me find the list of bad dates to come to Disneyland....but I'm trying to avoid major events like this!

Any thoughts on crowd levels for either of these weeks? I'd prefer April, but not if it's gonna be crazy busy!

I'm not sure when they are but I know there will be a boatload of cheer competitions in Anaheim from February to April.

I got the shrieking cheerleaders in WDW in May. Avoiding Spring Break might not do the trick, believe me!

I don't know about cheerleaders in April but I do know my DDs high school band will be in DL in April. I can't remember the dates right now but I think its earlier in the month.

I would look on the Anahiem conventions website maybe it would have some info.
