Hi

I am new to this board and although I have been to Orlando several times, have only recently discovered the mine of information you provide!

I am going to Orlando on November 6th for two weeks and wondered if anyone could tell me what the crowds will be like that time of year? I plan to spend most of my time at US and a day at Disney MGM to take in my fave RnR Coaster. I would really appreciate any advice or tips that you anyone could give me.

Thanx

V

November crowds (with the exception of Turkey Day weekend) are generally low.

I am from Central Florida and November is one of the best times to visit (outside of the holiday weekend). The weather is a bit chancy but you're more likely to hit cool weather than, say, October. The crowds are smaller. I generally advise people to try to plan trips for November (outside of Thanksgiving) or Spring (March-May, outside of the week before/after Easter).

Enjoy your visit!

Thanx for your replies that has certainly put my mind at rest, we are flying out November 6th so should hopefull by the sounds of things miss the worst of the crushes. Is there a bank holiday around that time though and will that be a day to avoid the parks on, and say go shopping instead or something?

Thanks

V

vamp:

november 6 is election day so that may be a bank holiday, and veterans day is november 11 (sun) so that will probably be observed on november 12. other than that untill thanksgiving you should be good to go. btw, i will be checking into portifino on november 7. i hope we have low crowds and great weather.
