crowds in early November?

What can we expect in the way of crowds Nov. 1-4 in the parks? Never been to Disneyland, so I don't know what to anticipate. Is D'land really crowded on Saturdays? I've heard it is.

We like to go this time of year. The Christmas decorations are up and they play carols over the speakers.

As far as crowds go, we also like that it is a lot less crowded during the week. A lot of locals go on the weekend so, yes, Saturday is pretty crowded, but manageable. Use FP on the big attractions, Splash, Space, Soarin', Screamin', Indy, and you will have no problem navigating.

We decided to go this year in early June and I will never go in the summer again. The crowds are just too much for our family.

I am hoping to take oldes daughter and her best friend for a B-day trip to celebrate a combined 13th birthday at Disneyland. We hope to go in early November, too.

Thank you. We'll plan on Disneyland on Friday and Monday and California Adv. on Sunday and make Saturday a toss up. It would be really neat if the Christmas decorations were up and twinkling.

Aunt K, I have just learned over at Laughing Place.com that the Christmas decorations won'g be going up this year until November 8. We have gone November 1-5 and 7-12 and had it all up but nothing special in the way of holiday shows or anything.

Thanks for the update. It actually turns out that I had the week wrong (we're dealing with a kid's school break), so we won't be going until 11/7 anyway. So we just might see some of those holiday decorations after all.
