Crowds in early May

Possibly taking a five day trip to WDW in early May. how are the crowds? Weather??

Hi,
Disney's 50th anniversary is kicking off on 5/5. It will probably be crowded. But who cares! We'll be at WDW! We will be there 4/30 - 5/7!

I'm actually pretty excited! There should be plenty of special events, and more crowds, of course, but who goes to Disney for solitude ? I think it is a really special time, in our lifetimes, not to be missed! BRING IT ON!!

We will be there May 11-18th... It is our fist trip there. We are so excited - not even thinking about the crowds! Can't wait!

We've been to WDW twice in May. Once was the 2nd-11th and the other time was the last 2 weeks in May coming home a couple of days before Memorial Day weekend. The crowds were fine, we never had long waits for rides and not a drop of rain either time. In May 2003, it was pretty hot while we were there but I did enjoy visiting at that time and would visit then again.
