Crowds In December

We are coming to the World from December 1-9. Can anyone tell me how the busy the parks are for this week? We were just there for Spring Break and let me just say OH MY! Thanks.

December is a great time to go. We were there in 2003 and 2005. Maggie

It is one of the "value seasons" so crowds should be down...someone correct me if I'm wrong, though. That is why we chose these dates, as we're going Dec 2nd-7th.

The crowds are MUCH better than Spring Break time in December. DH and I went this past December 1-5 and had a great time and didn't wait in line more than 15 minutes the whole time! We didn't have to use FP too many times either. The weather was cooler but we could last the whole day in the parks!! It's also decorated for Christmas! December is wonderful!!!

I personally think you have chosen the BEST possible time for a trip to WDW! We have gone several times in the weeks between Thanksgiving and Christmas....no crowds, short lines, all sorts of time on your hands! Last time they even had the fast pass machine at several rides covered up, there was no need for them!!! We even rode RNR 3 times in a row w/o waiting and Kali River Rapids, they didn't even make us get off, we just rode and rode. It is great, you're gonna love it, especially if you're comparing it to April!!!

Agreed...we went mid-December this past year, never again (probably similar to what you just dealt with during Spring break). I guess we've been spoiled by always going in early December prior...MUCH BETTER TIME TO GO!!

Mid-Feb through Easter week is one of the busiest times of the year. We always steer clear this time of year.

We try to plan a trip every December, it's just so awesome seeing WDW decked out for the holidays!!
