Crowds in August?

O.k. so how bad are the crowds in August??? We will be spending the weekend of either august 10-13 or august 17-20 at WDW. Is there a difference in crowds between these two weekends? Any advice is appreciated!

The further into August, the more southern schools are back in session. We've done two August trips in the past two years - the later August one (two weeks long!) was far less crowded than the early August one. Of course, I was squeezing in a second trip on our APs, which is why we went earlier the second time (before the passes expired).

One thing to note. The seasonal pass black out is lifted 10 August (unless they move it earlier), so you may see locals back in the parks because they haven't been able to.

We normally go Aug 25th and each yr I have noticed the crowds getting a little bigger. They arent bad, I think the longest wait was 30 min that we stood in for Soarin which the sign said 50 so thats not bad.
